I'm obsessed with flat earthers

Lately, I've been completely enthralled by the existence of people who genuinely believe the Earth is flat. Like, how are there seriously THIS many people who can't comprehend basic math and observation? It's seriously insane to me and I can't help but obsessively watch videos of these people trying to explain why they believe Earth is flat and I don't know why it's so intriguing. I guess just the scope of how large this group is has been something I simply can't wrap my mind around. Now it's my goal to meet one of these people in real life to disprove their terrible logic with elementary-level education. Which, this desire somewhat makes me think I'm being a jerk, but I'll also be potentially helping someone not look crazy in their future (If I could even convince them, which based on my "research," seems unlikely), so I'm fine with it. I don't know why this is a blog, but I felt weird about my obsession, so I thought I'd share, lol.

Well, how exactly do we know that earth is a sphere, there's any prove? Nasa make laugh of people all the time, I just don't trust liars.

Why doesn't a flat earther get the proper schooling and training to work at NASA. Excel at the position, move up in ranks, gain their trust, gain access to the restricted, secret database and expose them for what they are?

@Anunnymous because *THEY* are actively keeping flat earthers out of these professions so flat earthers wont uncover the truth. Only globetards are allowed to work at NASA.

@plasturion I'm sorry but do you realize just how ridiculous that video is? EVEN IF Chris made up that the ISS had been leaking air (which I honestly doubt, although I acknowledge that the image was most likely pulled from online after the fact), how does that implicate him in high treason? And do you genuinely believe that NASA is part of a networked uber-secret society who's only purpose is to... What, exactly? I'm sitting here trying to figure out what exactly the Freemasons (assuming they're malicious, which I haven't noticed anyway from what I've seen) could do from within NASA

Even people living in the middle ages knew the earth was round. It's a myth that they thought it was flat. A small child can figure it out through simple observation.

If you climb the mount Everest, you can see the curvature of Earth. I mean it is dead obvious...

But to be fair, studies have shown that Kansas is flatter than a pancake, but only Kansas

Well yeah, the actual land is like a lumpy piece of rock, but the atmosphere has that spherical shape because of gravity, although even that I believe bulges in the middle near the equator.

The reason I believe so many flat-earthers refuse to budge is due to religious beliefs, namely the description of how the earth looked during creation in the Bible. If something is incorrect in the Bible, it's no longer the infallible Word of God. If a major portion of the creation story is incorrect, that's even worse. I think that's why they want it to be true so badly. There is a nice drawing that sort of gave me that idea:

Observe the sky? do you mean star trails, if so this gives me more questions. How about north star, because this can't work on a globe.

Also, I don't think digital cameras were a thing until maybe the 80s at the very earliest. Perhaps the movement could have also been an artifact of trying to capture an object like stars on film. (Or tape if camcorders were invented then)
