Plain and simple!

SX Pro is by far the most polished package for the Switch at this point in time. Yes, they may be using code from other places but the code is open source if you guys have forgot that. Plus the fee I paid is for future proofing my investment. If your going to hack you Switch, quit asking about being banned or playing online. Consider that off limits. Homebrew and backup are your best options. Slam SX Pro all you want but the other options are not as satisfying in the end.

Did anybody here explicitly say you can't pirate? Again, I don't understand why you feel the need to defend piracy when nobody here has stated anything as such. What you do in your free-time is your business and your business alone.

We all have played a game or two without owning a legitimate copy or played an emulator with out a physical copy of the game. Your legitimacy is out the door at that point.

Exactly. So why bother acting like one side is superior over the other when they're both equally bad? Just because you bought SX OS doesn't mean everyone else has to. Even Gateway had a good 2-year exclusivity period until the open-source scene caught up and killed it with Luma. Point is there will always be a free alternative down the line so I and other people can just wait for that instead of paying now. Why does it bother you so much if we don't pay for it..

Not entirely. Piracy is the distribution of copyrighted work not necessarily as your own, but without authorized access from the author to do so. Plagiarism is doing that but also calling it your own work. Its not like when people pirate, they say "Look, I made this game called Mariokart and you should pay me for it". The difference is subtle but plagiarism =/= piracy.

Not sure where you're getting the anger from. I've brought up objective points here and there mixed with some subjective morality to show that claiming a superlative in this jumbled mess of hypocrisy is the biggest dose of irony I've seen yet. I just wanted to know why not buying SX OS is considered such a bad thing. I already listed advantages of buying SX OS.

Meh, I blame my brother. He reads the dictionary too much in his free time and his fancy handle on the English language unfortunately spilled itself onto me.

I thought that's what the vodka was for. Or maybe your getting stiffed from your usual guy. This is why homebrewing is superior, both in hacking and in real life.
