I can't believe I have to miss the direct.

Mom just said I have to leave with her at 10:30 to load a trailer. The direct starts at 11. Now I have to avoid even being on my phone until I get home.

Just save the link to the E3 stream, and when you come back home go straight to the link without looking at anything else to see the direct first hand

Save the link to the stream, pin it to the start screen, turn off the data on your phone that way you won't get spoiled by social media and so...

Stay strong, I've done it before :) the safest option is to leave your phone at home.

When you get back go straight to that link of the stream and you'll be good to go!

You could put your phone in your pocket, start the stream on your phone then put earphones in. That way you could atleast hear what was being announced.

Why would you watch an E3 presentation live?

Watch it after the fact. Then you can skip the sports games, skip the on stage "antics", possibly watch at 2x speed and in general have a far better time.
