That's not ideal

I guess it's not really considered a laptop anymore but it still works

@AmandaRose

That's a very good question that I wish I knew the answer to. It usually lives under my desk connected to my monitor. I have a good feeling the small siblings have knocked it over a couple of times without me knowing. It starting with the plastic covering on the hinges snapping and it just got progressively worse.

It's an "all-in-one" PC without the screen. If it has any HDMI/VGA ports you could use it with some external display as some kind of desktop companion or something like that.

From the keyboard and upper buttons, I'm guessing it's an MSI? The body on my GP63 has been going to shit for a while so it's been hooked up and tucked behind a monitor since last summer. Actually, it works better as a desktop than it did as a laptop, but I can't imagine trying to mess with BIOS or bootloader settings without the screen.

@E1ite007 That's actually how I've been using it for a while. I use it as my main pc

@McPringles yeah it's a gp63. The specs and price were great (when I bought it) but I didn't consider the awful build quality

Why not? If it still works as a desktop computer… In case the battery is okay you have a UPS built in as well.

Many people would just trash it instead of giving it a second life.
