I could take a look at the game's code if you run into any issues or bugs. Been taking a course in Java and Algorithms lately, so it's fresh in my mind again.

Also, re-animating the cutscenes shouldn't be too hard. The frames for the intro and ending cutscenes are on the Spriters' Resource.

Please do this. Add the cutscenes, and release the game no matter how buggy. I would play the whole thing, the game is a true masterpiece.
