Too many?

Just finished rounding up the random consoles around the house to organise them. There's still some I haven't found. I need to stop buying these darn things!! :-p

eh your ripping people of for selling a console more then its worth i'd rather tell people the cheapest way to get some thing instead of rip them off.

@Soslan actually they were all originally for selling to make some extra spending money, I have no desire to own lots of consoles. I used to keep an eye out for good value bundles where the games could be sold for more than the bundle value so the console ended up being free or better. Games are quicker to sell than consoles so they end up piling up. I haven't sold anything for a while due to moving house, finishing uni, working, and dealing with a death. About 3/4 are gone, sold cheaply to get rid of them or donated to the giving tree.

Can this blog post please slide back into obscurity now lol

She already said she is... Also, why are half the comments on here saying or implying they don't boot? Even bricking can be circumvented and repaired at this point!:/

@ThoD Hardbrick, no NAND backup, MCU brick, etc.
Remember, just because a console can boot doesn't mean that it's not bricked.

Everything except MCU-level bricks can easily be repaired at this point, but even MCU ones can be repaired by finding a compatible chip to replace it with.

@ThoD hardbricks can be permanent if you short something out. AND NO, REPLACING THE WHOLE MOTHERBOARD DOESN'T COUNT.

@SirNapkin1334 where do you keep getting these rules and definitions? A "brick" is a device that doesn't boot. Replacing a mobo is one of many ways to repair a device. You're nuts

Dude...replacing a motherboard is like basically taking the case off and putting it on another console...it's like if I took a broken phone out of it's otterbox, put a different one in, and claim it's been fixed.

@WeedZ, to add to what you said, MCU brick doesn't even take replacing the motherboard to fix, find a compatible micro-controller and then replace it. You may need special equipment, but most professional engineers have those anyway for their job. Hell, I'm a uni student and even I have those!

I can't remember whether I included my PSP (that doesn't work, my sister gave it to me because it doesn't) in that count, I definitely need to count again
