Holy shit guys, I might be getting a 360!

Woo-hoo! Finally, after SO MUCH TIME of wishing I had a 360, I might just be getting one! Although I will be trading my Wii for it, I don't really mind since I always wanted a 360 so much more. IM SO EXCITED! This is the perfect Christmas present for me!

I'm gonna make a list of the games I want to play:

GTA IV
Bio Shock
The Orange Box
Gears 1 and 2
COD 4
COD 5
Elder Scrolls IV
Halo 3
Fallout 3
Mass Effect
Braid
Geometry Wars: RE2
Portal
Dead Space
Left 4 Dead
Soul Calibur IV
Dead Rising
F.E.A.R.
Silent Hill 5
Civ
Prince of Persia
Viva Pinata
Castle Crashers
Megaman 9
C&C 3
Assassin's Creed

And that's only a couple of them @_@ Are there any other games you guys recommend I try? Also, how do I get games such as SFIITHDR and Geometry Wars? Is it kind of like buying WiiWare games?

Man... those are the games I own that you want to play.. I'm so sad.

But I love my 360, it gets much more play time than my PS3 or Wii. And XBLA arcade is pretty easy to use, just add points and buy.

Hm... arcade games don't seem too expensive. Cause I have a 60 dollar gift card for EB games and I want to get something for my 360... can't decide between a Guitar Hero guitar, Microsoft points, or a new controller (the 360 Im getting only has one controller)

Tried the demos of Portal: Still Alive, Mirror's Edge and Sonic Unleashed and I say it's better than any other Wii game I've played since January 1, 2008.

I feel you about the Wii thing but I have both of them. Months ago, I considered trading my Wii for a 360 but if I did that, I would be carrying too many boxes. That stopped me.

If you get the Arcade, please tell us the details in case you get the Jasper (lesser chance of getting the RRoD).

I believe I'm getting a Pro, so sorry I can't let you know about the Jasper thing. But man, I'm so scared about getting RROd :\

Is there a site out there that keeps track of 360 releases? Kinda like what GBAtemp does for DS/GBA/Wii games?

lucky you. i only have an xobx! with ONLY halo 2 and Fable... i wanted to play their sequels! >_>

anyway you got that much money/space for all those games? nice

    If your internet speeds are fast enough. Streaming 4k takes alot. I used to only have 20mb sec, and 4k struggled. Now I have 300mb sec and 4k plays fine.

    I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

    and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

    There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"

    i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect

    Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

    That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
