My mom thinks I'm gay but I am not

My mom recently walked in on me while watching a popular streamer, Ice Poseidon, and she saw him kiss another guy on his YouTube live stream. She assumed I was gay after having seen this and when I tried to explain the situation of a live stream to her, she just immediately shut me down. I don't know how to communicate that I am not gay to her without sounding like I am trying to cover up something. Please help.

"My gay friend sent me this link and told me it was a new video game trailer"

Gay rickroll.

I get you.

I bunch of people have a lot of assumptions about me.

Only advice I could give is tell the truth. You're not gay? Good, just say it.

guys, watching straight porn i gayish...
i mean.. there is the dude in there.... do you enjoy his hairy ass, orgasm face or his moaning? ewww

My family though i was gay but in reality i was asexual

Now I'm heterosexual but extremely picky, and that's an euphemism

Tc when you watch this kind oh stream u should keep open porn too, when ur mom walks in immediately switched to porn cauz it's more EASIER to explain.

It has been said that the key to good porn (for straight males) is you never want to see the dude's face.

Anyway. Are you in one of those ultra religious households that has a true dislike of such things? I imagine you would have led with that but having a mother that thinks a kiss means something and shuts down any conversation is something I wish to pick up on. If you don't have that particular horror to deal with then do nothing active seems like a sound policy*. If you do have that horror or a slightly lesser version of it then more nuance may be called for, sorry it is happening to you.

*then in 10 years she can say "remember that time I thought you were gay" and you can laugh and reply with "yeah that was funny, it was actually part of my becoming a serial killer".

If you are up for having some fun "I'm not gay, I'm bisexual", preferably at a really awkward time for her.
