No one likes me...

The truth is, nobody likes me. I try to fit-in wherever I go, but all I do is drive most people away. I am treated differently than most others, because I am different. People just don't like being around me. Several people call me a fat-ass and a retarded fuck. Some tell me to go die, some tell me I am an accident. I don't get bullied, but that's because there is sometimes an adult around to keep that from happening.

I have no true friends. There are a few people I get to hang out with, we play outside, we play video games, but they also treat me differently.

I am actually quite a depressed person. There are many days that I wish I did not exist. I feel there is no purpose in my life, but to drive others away.

I show few emotions, and I don't share much about myself with others. Everyone avoids me, so I can never open up to anyone.

I've just been venting this whole time... I'm sure none of you care...

I fell you..
not to be toxic or anything but I am as desperate as heck, I don´t have ANY contacts in rl and I don´t know why, mostly because I am too shy to talk or feel ashamed to even start talking and It tears at my self esteem. I do have some internet friends but they don´t want to be around my all the time either.

....you could look at it like this, they aren't using you. That's a pretty bad feeling; worse than being alone because you'd feel as if it were better to have been all alone. Not that isolation is particularly fun in its own right, but it does let you focus and concentrate--as long as you aren't focusing and concentrating on the fact you're alone.

Even that changes. Who knows, maybe in three years you'll go to a community college and date a deaf girl? Maybe you'll become a volunteer firefighter? Maybe you'll get a job at the YMCA?

Don't say stuff like "you probably don't care" we call it fishing.
Let me tell you this sonny, you will find people who will accept you for who you are. Maybe you will have to be patient (took me 29 years) but you will find them, or they will find you. No reason to be down or depressed about it.

I'd go and see a shrink. It can really help. It sure helped me.
You know, even shrink can avoid you and don't want to see you.

I asked someone I knew in school who became a shrink to talk about being bullied in that school period 25 years later to ask why they were like that with me and never wanted to talk to me or be my friend, she never wanted to hear and explain it to me. after 25 years I still don't understand why they were acting like that against me.

I didn't read all the posts, but it can feel dumb or insulting maybe :
If the people you frequent feel you are a fat-ass and dumb, you should change your frequentation.
You should go with fatter-ass and dumber than you group of people, you'll feel lighter and better than them. don't insult them for being lesser than you, you know how it feels.

This was a cynical answer, but for real : if people are bad for you then it means you shouldn't frequent them. don't try to force being and staying with them, you'll only hurt yourself more.

One good advice I've read : don't expect school friendship to last. it's not friendship but a "one year acquaintance" that will forget about you once school is finished.
Talk about it (parent, family, anyone).

You are alone ? you'll have to accept it, or fight to change that.
Fight by going outside, in different places you don't usually frequent (clubs, museum, culture, concert, etc.) find people who share the same interest.
it's hard, because even there, there will be people who will reject you, it's not a 100% sure solution to find someone, don't expect anything specific, just try and see. if nothing change or happen, then try something else, or just accept your situation and do solo activities you like (hiking, traveling, bicycle, swimming, drawing, writing, playing video games, etc.)
You can also try activities where people don't see or knows you : making and selling something, artisanal goods, etc.
you'll at least get rewards for what you do, if not for who you are

I'm still waiting, haha.
I guess young people are more afraid of their situation and feel they will meet no one, but most of the time it's false and people don't stay single all their life. I have read a lot of blogs here about that subject, and most of the time it's <20 years old people, still at school, wondering why they don't have a "school girlfriend".
But sometime, it happens after a longer wait time and people >20, 30 years old are still alone, it's more a game of "wait and see" than something you still expect to happen soon. just don't give too much hope, and just live day by day, don't overthink.

Listen, I've been in your shoes, right now I sometimes feel that way, but realize that people are mean, rude, and annoying, they'll be like that. Remember that you'll find friends, look for those that seem to be in your shoes, the people who feel bad, support helps, remember that the temp loves you for who you are. You are amazing as you are, and we love you for that.
