Pokémon Direct 06/06/2017 - My opinion

- Pokkén Tournament DX

Looking forward to hear from the competitive scene on this. It's the first game I would buy if I will ever get a Switch.

- Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon

Why Game Freak... why are you imitating Nintendo with the awful names? These are new stories, but it almost sounded like an improved version of an already existing game. Still, gonna get it for sure when it comes out.

- Pokémon Gold and Silver

...why not Crystal? Like, seriously. I grew up with Silver, but Crystal is the better version: animations and a battle tower.



Waiting for the Nintendo fanboys to bash on this post again. I understand them, if they actually had games to play on the Switch, they wouldn't waste their time here. LOL

i'm glad they are releasing pokémon games for 3DS and not for this expensive shit called switch
and even better, for OLD 3DS hahahah much better, NEW 3DS is another expensive thing xD
i'm going to download ultraSUCC and ultraMUM

That last part isn't petty, not at all.

The gold and silver re-release is good, I guess. This actually would have been a perfect opportunity to introduce VC on their newest platform. I digress.

Pokken is good, i guess. Yet another re-release.. New combatant(s). I never owned the Wii U, so I'll be picking this up for sure.

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon? Lazy. Lazy naming, lazy sequel. Sure, it's got a new story... So did B/W 2.. Another missed opportunity from Game freak.. And no, I'm not talking about the Switch, before you jump the gun again.

Pokken is just a scripted, rock/paper/scissor fighting game where one gets to attack the other depending on one's luck. What a great fighting game.

Nintendo is going down the toilet but it makes sense, they want to milk it as much as possible and it'll work for them. EA, Activision, Ubisoft, etc all do it.

I'm actually half debating selling my Switch now. If all were going to get are ports with 1 new game a year? What's the point....?

Just wait, keep in mind they never mentioned "coming to 3ds" for US/UM. Suprise switch reveal at e3 is possible ;)

But what they are telling is so true, I wonder anybody can be angered.
The software library is somewhat lacking and they bringing more and more ports is boring.
Sure Switch is the new PSP (as in Please Stop the Ports)

The trailer for Zelda: Twilight Princess was on a gamecube, that didn't stop them from making it on Wii.

BOTW was shown off on a wii u first, even at the end of the switch direct, that didnt stop them from making it on Switch.

Keep in mind that this is Nintendo, even if there aren't that many good switch games they're not 100% stupid.
