Non-depresing rant about "Depression"

Right so lately i've been seeing a lot of angsty kids/teens making lengthy posts about their "Depression" and "Issues" while in all reality that's seriously just normal shit that you're supposed to deal with if you're already getting so worked up over minor stuff like that you will not survive a minute in the real world

And it's not like i've never done one of these attention grabbing status updates either i'm not innocent but at least i don't do them constantly because honestly nobody really cares except for the other kids who think they have issues as well i'm not bashing the ones with actual health issues more the "Depressed kids" you know who you are.

Look it's fine if you feel down once in a while it's normal for your age your body's changing in a lot of ways and you may feel like you don't fit in and that's fine but for fucks sake get off your ass and do something about it you like games dontcha go to some tournements you don't even have to participate just hang out it's fun!

Quote time
It's true though, all these kids going through middle school think they're having problems that are so unique

You have a whole life ahead of you, no you do not have some disorder preventing you from talking to people

You're just lazy, small child

Is what I've been wanting to say but that's too harsh

Thank goodness someone actually spoke up about this. It's getting to be way too much and the blog section is full of trash tbh.

I love how a lot of you seem to be qualified psychologists. Ever thought that perhaps these tiny little bothersome things could be amplified to them because of depression? I've suffered from depression for nearly 13 years now and the smallest things to me can set me off on a major downer. That's just what happens when the chemistry in your brain isn't quite right. You could perhaps just ignore it if it bothers you that much.

@Judas18 it bothers us A LOT when this statement comes from a 12 years old kiddo with too much free time on their hands using internet instead of going outside and having a teenager life like everyone did before 10 years ago.

@Judas18 You seem to be the one acting like a qualified psychologist when everyone else is just using common sense

So 12 year olds can't be depressed? I was 10 when I first developed depression. It can happen to anyone at any age. Learn what depression is then maybe you'll find out why it isn't as easy as just going outside and having a teenager life. There is no motivation to even drag yourself out of bed everyday.

Like I said, I've suffered with it for nearly 13 years so naturally I would be more knowledgeable than apparent common sense.

@Judas18 then they need to seek therapy. The internet has nothing but apathy for them.

The point of this blogpost (that you obviously totally missed) was about how ANNOYING are kids seeking for attention pretending to have countless of mental issues. Sorry for what you had to live, I had my lot of shit as well, and I do not seek for attention and pity about it.

This blog was written ranting about kids on internet.

@Judas18 So you think that it just happens that everyone who posts in this section has an actual, bona fide case of depression? The more likely explanation is not, I didn't say anything about your situation but it's not like half the earth suddenly became depressed
