the memchunkhax2 hype post with .3dsx

there is more going on in the comments that this post is somewhat outdated now.
read this. it's important.
  • you cannot use this for downgrading, installing .CIAs, etc. yet. it is purely for testing.
  • when you post results, include your model, entry point, and full firmware version (e.g. 10.3.0-28E).
  • this has pretty much no risk of bricking as it doesn't write to the NAND or anything. with that in mind I am not responsible if anything weird happens so run this at your own risk.
  • if you get a test value of DEADCAFE then it has worked.
  • this might help with getting "DEADCAFE":

@Urbanshadow Yeah that works fine for me :/ I ran Decrypt9 from sysnand though, it can modify emunand from there (for me at least)

Ok so I injected bigbluemenu into hs app and it's working. But, I installed hblauncher_loader adn stayts gray in the manu. It's like sign checks are enabled somehow.

@Urbanshadow I would highly suggest getting FBI instead. Not that it will solve your issues just generally. For your problem check in the cakes menu to see if sign checks are enabled.

@jaykureno as I already said, signchecks are disabled. It needed a reboot to get the title properly. Something is still not working fine after a 2ds downgrade and bigbluemenu has nothing to do with that. Strange that only affects emunand.

samehere @zombie eater I downgraded last night rin rxtools nos use of fbi yet because im on 9.2 still

I updated emunand through ninty's updater. All smooth. I installed another unsigned title in 10.3 emunand and title detection is flawless now. FBI in hbl through sliderhax is still uncapable of installing nothing but BigBlueMenu injected in H&S app is working fine like in 9.2 emunand. I can live with that.

Even with these new successes on sysupdater, is the recommended guidance still DON'T UPDATE YOU WILL BRICK or has it been leaning more towards just do it? I'd be updating an EU N3DSXL if that matters.

For N3DS, yes, the only advisable method to downgrade is if you have a HardMod.

@ItsYogSothoth I meant DON'T DOWNGRADE, I'd be downgrading from 10.3 either way.

If N3DS users should specifically wait, should I give sysupdater a go on my old 3DS or just wait until Wednesday for both? I'll probably just wait and do both together anyway.

@DarkJesus As a N3DS user I say to all people to wait. It is not worth to hurry and brick your console...

does anybody know how to install cfw on 9.2 and install legit cia if somebody reads this thanks for helping been looking all night nothing yet
