the memchunkhax2 hype post with .3dsx

there is more going on in the comments that this post is somewhat outdated now.
read this. it's important.
  • you cannot use this for downgrading, installing .CIAs, etc. yet. it is purely for testing.
  • when you post results, include your model, entry point, and full firmware version (e.g. 10.3.0-28E).
  • this has pretty much no risk of bricking as it doesn't write to the NAND or anything. with that in mind I am not responsible if anything weird happens so run this at your own risk.
  • if you get a test value of DEADCAFE then it has worked.
  • this might help with getting "DEADCAFE":

I followed the tutorial on 2DS, waited 20 minutes after pressing Y on sysupdater because the screen was frozen then hardresetting the 2DS but still on 10.3...

Started the installation using sysupdater. What confirmation should I be looking for that it's finished?

about halfway done setting up CFW using the tutorial from the catch-all thread ~ヾ(＾∇＾)

Just tried the tux sysupdater on 10.3.0-28J N3DSJ down to 9.2J N3DS. This will still brick if 000400102002CA00.cia is in the folder. Gonna try again without that file. Re-flashing...

I've gotta wait for memchunkhax2 to get more stable. For some reason, it'll crash when the exploit apps report the exploit being successful. Tried on menuhax 2.1 (hax 2.5) and oot3dhax (hax 2.5 beta). Tried on the memchunkhax2 demo, FBI and sysUpdater.
