So I picked up kid icarus uprising.

The game was well worth my forty dollars. The only complaints I have is that pit and platuena wont shut the **** up, If it isn't their Saturday morning anime dub voices it's their corny jokes, their talking can be really distracting. I also find online quite addicting.

I was concentrated on dodging shitstorms of enemies, I didn't even notice their voices most of the time.

I love the dialog, it's so friggin hilarious, tbh, if the game didn't have that much dialog, I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much, it gave the characters quite a lot of personality (heck, from the previous KI games, what did you think they were like?) now you know what their personalities are like and you can clearly see how much they care about eachother (and how much palutena likes to joke around with pit).

Well you do have a point there, but trying to focus on what there saying and with a lot of things coming at you can get annoying.

Lol, given the amount of times you'll be redoing each level, I can assure you you'll know everything they say. xP

You can turn the voice volume all the way down in the volume menu if you like.
I do it when I need to replay certain chapters over and over again, for hearts and other stuff.

But it's still fun to listen to imo.
