I can say I have been on the scene since the early flashcard days of the r4i-sdhc and the super-card ds2. from that point there was no turning back and for the most part as time went by my interest in games changed because i no longer really got the same feeling getting new ones as i did when i had all hard coies, like in the days of the n64 and previous. I never really had a high cash flow so i made it a point to complete every game i purchased b4 getting a new one. at that time game-guides where a godsend. and they also made at least for me the game more like an interactive novel in respects like playing link to the past with the guide i got in a set @ gamestop. allowed me to fully complete the game instead of wondering around aimlessly, getting bored and giving up.
There was little if no online communities for gaming at that time and i didn't own a ps1, at 1 time tho i did own a dreamcast. and that was quite a while ago, i sold it and then a few years later a friend had 1 that somehow could play cd-roms as full games with a loader disk used first. After that i was starting to get into the homebrew scene.
the biggest problem i have encountered isnt constantly having to play the cat and mouse game with the usual pretendo phony and +box firmware updates and keys... hell to me thats the fun part like watching the twitvh feed of scires after an update idaing the crap out of it to release a compatability update of his own and finding the subtle differences.
There was a time for me a way back as a rom site admin for ds that branched off of the overblloated dreaded gamesengine. to those who dont know you can google it. there was a mutiny on there and a bunch of us got together and started a branch off called ge-xtreme, wich has also fizzled out... threw all this i used gba to help me post rom ids and stuff.
Now to the point. having so many games/roms or even isos at my fingertips has made gettting and completing games alot less interesting, now it seems i get a game if i aint interested in 15 minutes i get ridfd of it. and also now that i am banned i cant make or meet people in the switch cmmunity. every time i try thr net hack i get a fatal error and the switch wont boot again correctly, and the server app on my pc only shows at most 10 members wich is fine but i need more detailed instructions and maybe a video... cant find 1 and i aint a newb. i happen to be Comptia A+ Certified so i know alot but i like most am still learning... I am seeking a guru. who can even coach me on how to use devkitpro to make apps i have a few ideas... even1 about putting your payload launcher on a usb drive ina hidden partition so if you need to send a payload after enabling autorcm of corse it mounts and loads the hidden partiton with the payloads and chooses the one you preset or if possible brings up a gui... if i could code I'd be on it already.... I have alot of other ideas too... if someone else can make it happen just let me be a beta tester and put my name on the project.....
