It seems like people around your and my age (in our teens, more or less) regard one or two years as a lot of difference when there really isn't. Just think of your parents or your friends' parents. In many cases there's probably a difference of around 5-10 years. And they probably met when they were in their teens.

Also, @ kevenka: wtf pedo? she's over 13. In most places that's the age to start having sexual relationships. Imagine you were 17 turning to 18 with a gf 17 years old 2 months younger than you. Would you stop seeing her for those two months when you're 18 and she's not still? FFS, guys. No wonder you're a country founded by Ned Flander's ancestry, GEEZ!

Anyways, I think it is perfectly alright, love is spontaneous, it doesn't always come around, regardless of age love is not your fault its purely natural, I don't see any problems. Some 50+yo men can find young women to marry, I don't see the prob. And when people say something is wrong or right, it doesn't matter because YOU judge if its alright not other people, nothing in the world is decisively good or bad.

I'll gladly date a girl of any ags as long as its mutual and genuine.

There is no issue with dating younger girls, the issue comes when you are a supposedly fully developed human being (read: early 20s) and dating someone who could not possibly understand anything about real relationships (read: early teens). You are effectively preying on these girls and need to really re-examine your life or get some real mental help. Something like 15/16-17 isn't that big of a deal as you are both at similar steps in your development.

PS: This is the same reason why there is no real issue with 40 year olds and 25 year olds and other such pairings.

Well, the "age/awkwardness" scale says it's okay to date anyone that's half your age plus seven years (and over), but once you're both over 20 nobody cares any more.

When two people are both over 18 that is fine, then it can be 18 and 43 it doesnt really matter. But when it comes to 20 and 14 i think that is a little bit to much. I mean one is two years over the limit and the other is two years under the limit. To me that seems a bit of a stretch but if the 20 year old and the 14 year are serious then that doesnt really make it okay but it makes it a bit easier to digest. As for 17 and 15 (nearly 16) then that is fine unless your planning to bump uglys while shes still 15. When she 16 thats fine. Just remember though, is it worth it if you might lose your friend

Personally I'll only date girls who are still in the womb. I like a baby in the 2nd trimester you know when they're in their prime. I guess mostly because 1st trimester chicks are too immature for me and 3rd trimester girls are just too old. Only thing about fetal dating is it's hard to form a long term relationship.
