Zelda Link's Awakening DX Glitch Question

A long time ago I read in my Club Nintendo Magazine that some versions of Zelda Link's Awakening DX features the screen warp glitch that the DMG version of the game has.

And I'm wondering if that's true.

Has anyone here found a Zelda Link's Awakening DX cartridge with the glitch?

My cartridge, and pretty much all the ROMS I've downloaded can't do the glitch.

So, if there's a DX version with the glitch present, how come nobody has dumped that ROM?

Have you tried Japanese dumps? Might be more likely to be an earlier version.

Not sure where to find this these days but Emuparadise had a complete Gameboy romset available which contains every version of every known gameboy game dump. This includes bad dumps and more popular romhacks. You can probably find the rom you're looking for in that romset.

The message "citation needed" does suggest it's not actually correct and you can only perform this glitch in the original game.
