its a shame it didnt worked damn, i wonder if we will ever be able to creat ini files or it will be the nintendo made only ones.
Hopefully, we should be able to create ours. I mean, if Fix94 figured what the option does, it should work.

If it weren't for that whole crashing part I would almost want to play it that way just to see how trippy it would be

We could try the one from Banjo Kazooie. It may not work, but it's worth a go
as long as you delete the adresses that probably are all wrong that leavues the save format lol.


@FIX94 sadly though, the game still loads with corrupted textures :(

And crashes after loading DAM :(
just wonderigng if the issue is textures why not try that option pre parsed textures? one never knows lol

nope. I already tried that. Until I tried to load the japanese rom. The japanese rom works with the breakblockinst values.
also the us version crashes at loading the mission.

nope. I already tried that. Until I tried to load the japanese rom. The japanese rom works with the breakblockinst values.
also the us version crashes at loading the mission.
have you tryed deleting the breakblocks? tosee if the jap version still gets messed up textures? i wonder i think its worth experimenting with.

Weird. just tested and the japanese veraion still works fine...

This is getting weirder... I definitely overlooked something...

just to make sure, are you editing the DK64 rom config setting, or double checking if/what config file is loaded via cafiine
only the dk64 file seems loaded.

I know it because changing options change ingame behaviour.

mario kart and mario 64 blackscreen on boot.
also, the pdfurl bit worls too. editing it I taken in consideration.
and the ini file is named exactly like the rom is, so it is loaded with it.
I verified already, only the undoe ini is loaded.
