Hardware Wii U Gamepad Problem

Hi ive just been given a Wii U but it has a problem with the screen on the Game pad

The touchscreen still works but cannot see anything to access the system menus

Anyone had a similar problem or any ideas of fixing it

looks like Needs a replacamient of LCD.

So i took it apart took the lcd ribbon out and put it back in to see if it made a difference

I dont know if the lcd ribbon connectors are corroded see pic

It did now i dont get anything on it fxxk

When i turn the pad on it goes blue and it will power on the wii u but then goes orange straight away while plugged in

Nothing on the screen its blank also when charging it stays orange even when ive unplugged it

Any ideas?

You tried to clean it with alcohol?
I think maybe needs a new LCD

I havent tried to clean it i just took it out put it back in
