I agree to this 100%. There can be no better reason for this. Second, there's gonna be some updates to it like multiplayer. It's not just a simple port.A Gay Little Catboy said:What he said. The OP specifically says "why not just use nesDS?"lilsypha said:Pingouin7 said:Implying nesDS doesn't have multiplayer support.lilsypha said:The updated versions will include multiplayer support -- aka Nintendo is finally providing a little more than just straight emulation.
Who's talking about nesDS?

If Sega couldn't, can Nintendo do it?
Especially considering this would mean we would be able to inject an english-translated Mother 3 rom into one of those when the 3DS gets fully hacked.brandonspikes said:I care more about the GBA games.

Does that Virtual Console GBA emulator has RTC built-in?
Dude it's not out yet, how would we know ? But I assume RTC will be built in. the 3DS has an internal clock...
QUOTE(Pingouin7 @ Jul 30 2011, 11:26 PM) And does the 3DS have a solar sensor?

On the other hand, DS runs GBA games in their native resolution, pixel-perfectly.
On 3DS, you'll have some blur applied, just like when DS games are ran.
