Alright thank you this topic can be locked at the mods discretion so it doesn't start a cluster fuck of shit posting.
If you're worried about that then why post a whole new thread? There's already a shit ton of these threads out there. Did you really think this thread was going to extract any new info that we all haven't heard before? You could have just as easily asked this question in one the many cluster fuck threads that exist!

Answer: So that the exploit has a strong chance of working on 5.5.2+ when they roll around. This has been the same with every console exploit ever. People need to quit asking. Things will happen when they happen and no sooner.

Wish this could get stickied. As much fun as it is to eat virtual popcorn and laugh at the drama, it does get old after a while.

Many people are selling their Wii U's today. Something needs to happen here. Not trying to sound entitled, but its time.

No need to make a whole post asking for an exploit. If they wanted to release it, you WILL see it posted. They're not holding it a secret until someone asks about it. The more of these posts that occur just makes the devs not want to release anything.

People will bitch regardless of if we post anything with a potential release or not so it's not like it'll matter lmao if it happens it happens

I think everyone shouldn't even reply to these topics, just leave it with no replies whatsoever.

Overall everyone is still over hyped over IOSU, something that shouldn't have been promised. I'm not affected by it, but the whole community is so we can pretty much expect posts like this.

That's their prerogative. I'm thankful for what I have thus far, and if anything new comes out that's helpful, I'll be thankful for that too. If nothing new comes out, I haven't lost anything nor do I have a reason to jump ship. I still have original softmod xboxes that I enjoy.

"Many people" will be butt hurt no matter when something comes out (if they sold theirs).
But seriously, those "many people <who are> selling their Wii U's today." may really feel stupid if they missed it by less than a week.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
