Hardware Use Wiikey Fusion SD Slot with Riivolution?

So my wii got dropped a few days ago, and the disk drive stopped working. I had been playing with mario kart wii lately and since the drive doesn't work, i can't use my disc anymore. Is it possible to use a wiikey fusion with a backup of my disc with riivolution through the 2nd sd slot?

I have Wiikey Fusion installed on my Wii and I can confirm that unfortunately it is not possible to use Riivolution with a disc backup in the respective SD slot as it can detect that an original disc has not been inserted.

I believe there are ways to patch individual games and load them normally through USB loaders, which has the same effect as using Riivolution.

If you're in the market to buy such a device, you could go for a sundriver.
It's a replacement ODDE for your DVD drive that allows you to load games from a 2.5 inch harddrive (internally in the wii)

The games load like retail so you can use Riivolution.
