I don't think it does right now, and please don't quote me on something I never said. You could have just tagged me if you wanted to get my attention.

Old 3ds users might be able to get it working by renaming the 11.2 payloads* and using an hourly version of Luma (this is the version I use,https://astronautlevel2.github.io/Luma3DS/builds/Luma-5f8a6120.zip ). If not then it might be necessary to wait for someone to fork the *hax payload and replace udsploit with svcbackdoor or similar (since Luma already unfixes the svcbackdoor exploit).

*This is only theoretical based on the fact that one of the Luma hourlies made it so the 11.2 *hax payloads worked on 11.3 by making gspwn work again. I know it works on my n3ds with the 11.2 payload and Luma-5f8a6120.zip on firmware 11.3

So what do I rename the payloads to?

:/homebrewlauncher/, there should be the payloads. Find the one that matches your system and rename the payload to match 11.4.

Just remembered I could check things with Godmode9, and this is what I found:

is the OLD supposed to be there or will I break everything if I remove that bit?

OLD for an O3ds or 2ds, NEW for a new 3ds. Note that you must download the correct payload for your system, renaming the NEW-11.2 payload to OLD-11.4 or OLD-11.2 to NEW-11.4 won't work.

only if you're on 11.3 yourself and if your payload is for the correct model, as discussed.
i am on 11.4.0-37U
What firmware are you on and do you have Luma 7?
i used a guide from http://3ds.guide that used soundhax on 11.3, then downgraded with safectrtransfer and backup to 2.3.0 and installed Luma and a9lh then updated to 11.4 and i still have HBC, FBI and Luma. I also have freeshop, Godmode9 and CIAngel. only thing that wont work correctly is HBC.

If you are on 11.4, your payload needs to be for 11.4, so the name should include that.

As for Luma 7.0, use Luma Updater.

Old 3DS? If so then it should work provided you have the latest HBL cia and the latest boot.3dsx from the starter pack. If you are unsure, then redownload the starter pack and replace the boot.3dsx on your SD card with the one from the starter pack. Also get the latest HBL cia and install it.

You also need Luma 7.0 or later (the latest is 7.0.1).

I don't know why you're on 7.0, but here is a guide you should follow to help you out: https://3ds.guide/es_ES/index.html

Luma version is 7.0.1-6d82649c (dev). it is the current latest.

Ok, since it says hax 2.9 you have the wrong payload as hax 2.9 is for 11.3 and the 11.3 payload was patched in 11.4 and was never unpatched by Luma. You need the payload that uses gspwn so download the 11.2 otherapp payload from here http://smealum.github.io/3ds/ and rename it.
