I'm a little confused about which MLC Restorer I download, is it the "MLCRestorerDownloader_Windows_x86_64.zip" ?

It seems to get stuck on the Rednand Config screen. Any idea what could possibly cause this freeze up?

Maybe your old IOSU is causing problems.
Download the latest OSv10 using JNUSTool, we only need the fw.img from that.

java -jar JNUSTool.jar 000500101000400A

Rename the fw.img from the OSv10 just downloaded to ios_orig.img and put it on the SD card.
Then try again using Patch (sd) and boot sdmc:/ios_orig.img redNAND in minute.

JNUSTool needs the common key, you can extract it from your otp.bin using this tool: https://github.com/GaryOderNichts/WiiUCommonKeyExtractor/releases/tag/v1

Where can I find the JNUSTool? I tried Googling it, but there's multiple versions I found with no clear indication which one is the right one

It does, it did the first time. Could it be just that quick?

If you mean remove "wafel_setup_mlc.ipx" and then run "Patch (sd) and Boot redNAND" again with the log file? I tried that and nothing happened.
