If I sound pissy, sorry. I can't get fucking DevMenu to install. I'm not stupid, I got the right IP and edited run correctly. I tried doing it on 3 different networks, with my 3DS on/off, changing "installcia" to "installcia.bat" in case it didn't detect file extension, I changed devmenu to lowercase/uppercase, pretty much every combination. Please help anyone.

I haven't actually gotten that far yet. Try restoring your nand and restart from the very beginning following every single step very carefully.

I'm really not the person to ask tbh. Example; I just tried to install emunand on emunand because I wasn't paying attention while typing this.

Actually dark flare, I think I know what your problem is.

When you make a text file and name it "title.db", you have to open it and save as, then in that menu you have to click on the drop down menu and change it from "Text Documents (*.txt)" to "All Files", then you want to save it as "title.db". Otherwise it's actually a title.db.txt file.

Anyway I'm stuck at that part now too, I'm assuming that somehow messed up the hidden emunand files. Next I'm going to format the sd card and start at step 2-6 again and after that try a bigger sd card than a 2 gb one.

EDIT Actually better start at 2-1 instead of 2-6. Make sure you delete the files emunandtool made first.

Also keep trying until you get the white flash like the guy in the video did.

2 hours and the closest I've gotten is failing to connect after a ten second delay in the batch file. Booting CFW and immediately going to the browser, maybe it's because the computer I'm using is on wireless.

is it normal to not be able to make a emunand backup after you inject rednand.bin? i just got bbb installed and i wanted to make a backup for it but i get unknown emunand size error with the backup tool.

Running emuNAND at 9.5 now with the MT launcher files so that's nice to know that it works.
Just had to test it out cause the Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate demo was released yesterday.

So I installed a few .cias, but only the virtual console ones are showing up. The spaces that should have the other CIAs show up as a white space for just a second and then turn I to empty spaces.

I can even launch the games from BigBlueMenu, but for some reason they just won't show up on my home menu. Anyone know why?

Edit: Seems to be because of region issues, I thought I made them region free though

Probably because doesn't have your native language (Italian i suppose) inside. USA games doesn't have Italian language, if they are region spoofed you can launch them on a UE 3DS but the laguage can't appear for magic. If it's a EU title, maybe it's made for a sigle country (i.e. only a language inside).

no. I have downloaded the title from eur e-shop, the game is in my native language (multilanguage). But when i run the game the language is in english. probably, the MT-emunand not support correctly the 9.5?

So I can't access saves to newer games... does everyone have this too or is it because I installed the ds exploit differently? (method with no flash card)

Everyone has the same thing too, if there is ever a CFW on 6+ firmware I believe that this problem would stop. However, there's really no way to know if that will ever happen. You have to have a Gateway and be running 6+ in order to access games with the newer save file without having to restart over again.

I'm pretty certain about all of this, but if someone else knows more please chime in.

Okay, than at least I'm not the only one. If you ever get it, please tell me how. CFW is pointless without DevMenu.
