i'm sorry but i don't quite understand what has to do with this. Who'd get tracked? me? my 3DS? Because downloading a prepatched cia on my computer before booping it wouldn't get me such a virus/trojan/keylogger installed i presume

But who said anything about releasing the source code of their work? doesn't downloading the patch give more access to their work (for someone decided to look thru it, say, nintendo or bandai or whatever) than a prepatched cia? the prepatched cia is literally the same file we all would get when applying the patch, how does it trace back to decode team? I'd understand the team can't distribute that because ROMs and all that. But if someone else does, how is that any different than doing it myself besides saving me the trouble of finding the right rom and applying the patch?

i never got anything different than what was promised when donwloading prepatched games. I usually follow the translation teams as i do here to make sure i have the latest release and such, but besides having to ask for an update when there is one, no issues...
again, why download the actual patch when someone offers me a CIA ready for install...? i did download the patch and read the instructions tho. learned how to check the hash number thingy and realized my copy of the game wasn't compatible.

lol you won't find any. almost all ROM sites only have pre-patched ROM they got from either the team's FB post's comment section or the Reddit thread, the links there already deleted tho
when your digimon "die" you can store their data and restore it to a new baby Digimon that hatches from an egg assuming it's the same type of Digimon you stored in the first place like when my metal greymon died I chose the yellow Digi egg because I knew that one would hatch a digimon that digivolves to augumon and I restored my data onto that one when you do a data restore they typically gain XP and digivolve faster.. now I have a black wargreymon xI don't understand this game. I was trying to get a seraphimon, but my Digimon died as a magnaangemon before I could raise it's stats to evolve. All that time I spend training was wasted.
