Two possibilities:CrimzonEyed said:Lol i checked gamestop website and hell its cheap as hell in the US o.O
I though it was a good price here in sweden (2690SEK compared too 405,61 USD)
Was there a region lock in the 3DS or was it only a rumor?

As for the sim lim square issue, I prefer getting games from qisahn or funzsquare. Their prices are lower and their service is very good. I got ripped in SLS on my first DS purchase, so I already *so called* have a phobia of SLS

May I ask... How much is the shipping? I heard that amazon's shipping rates for games is very expensive at about US$30 for one article. I am confused... cuz I only order bluray discs from amazon and the shipment rates are reasonableJoanified said:chris888222 said:I have to agree. Same here got ripped off on my DSL purchase at SLS. I don't recommend going there at all. I preordered my 3ds from amazon. with the discounts on games, I'm actually paying lesser than I would be paying if i bought in Singapore. The downside is I cant hold mine at launch>.>
I called maxsoft and confirmed that the asia set is actually just US set with a different charger.

EDIT: Just found out cheapest it is about US$14 and US$3 per item, which adds to about US$22 (one 3DS, one game and one HORI screen filter). About US$22 + US$249.99 + US$39.99 = US$312 (about $400). VERY REASONABLE COMPARED TO SINGAPORE'S $399

actually, there is also a import fees deposit which they charge. so it's actually more than 400. but they have the US$35 off for a 2nd game, so it's still cheaper than buying 2 games + a 3DS in Singapore. How I hope we have Nintendo over here T_T. Then we'll be able to get club Nintendo stuff as well.
actually to the employed, it is still quite shocking. Nintendo has never charged $249.99 for any console before (apart from wii).Slyakin said:Here's how I think of it.
Unemployed (Students, kids, etc.) = GODDAMNIT NINTENDO EXPENSIVE PIECE OF BULLSHIT
Employed = Fair enough.
SAME HERE!!! US$250 is seriously a bargain, even with exchange rates and shipping and stuff.Puppy_Washer said:I live in Australia, so $250 USD is extremely cheap for me, and $40 USD for games is insanely cheap. I selected "CHEEEP!!!!!".
I bought mine on Amazon, from the US.
chris888222 said:Either we order from online (and use our DSi charger) or wait for any gameshop here to import one and sell it at a lower price (no warranty, but better than paying $399 for maxsoft's unreliable warranty! XD)Joanified said:For a student, I think it's too expensive. The US price is still alright, but Singapore's price is bullcrap.(yes I'm from singapore too.)
