You're in the wrong thread, since we've completed the game now, but now that we're here:
I got my credit card to work, but it doesn't seem to work for everyone. You need to give them a Japanese address (McDonalds or something works). The first charge will always fail, they will charge your account with a small "verification fee" you'll get back later. Try again after a while and maybe it will work then - it did for me, but for others it didn't.
