I don't disagree, it probably could be possible. It's just way easier to make it work on n3ds and call it a day. I'm super curious as to what happens if someone loads the cia on an o3ds though.

According to an early uploader on "that ISO site" the SNES VC titles are made in a certain way. They "wont even install on o3ds" is his words exactly.

EDIT: Confirmed it myself, Super Mario World refuses to install.

Since n3ds owners have this then hopefully people will work on snes emulation for o3ds so everyone can have something.

Looks like it won't even install.

I didn't miss anything. From what I can tell you can't afford nice things, so you bash them in order to make yourself feel better.

it's Brazil, what a surprise, Nintendo doesn't currently sell there

I guess it makes a a bit more sense why he can't get a n3DS... but still, no need to whine about its exclusives.

Wow, really?

The New 3DS might have a better CPU/GPU, but we are talking about SNES games. It isn't Xenoblade.

Nintendo isn't officialy here, but it doesn't matter. But we can get the games on the eShop and other stores that import them. Just like we can buy the consoles if we want.

I'm able to afford a New Nintendo 3DS, but I simply don't want to spend money on another 3DS when mine is working perfectly.

Someone should see how it runs on a n3ds in o3ds speed mode

That would be interesting.

Just tried it on Super Mario World using NTR to "underclock" the cpu. Performance drops significantly when not running at 804MHz with L2 cache enabled and when running at 268MHz with L2 Disabled (same speed as o3ds) the game slows to an absolute crawl.

It's no wonder ninty didn't do it for o3ds

Here's a video that shows the performance (not mine btw)

i've tried super mario world now,it's run okey, but there is still some lag and frame drop
i mean, WTF
even the N3DS can't play SNES perfectly ? i can't imagine nintendo will ever give us star fox SNES on N3DS.

very shameful , they can't emulate their own games probably.
