Thanks, I would appreciate it.

One of the more famous hackers made it already, but I can't find a release of it anywhere. So at least we know that it's totally possible to pull this off.

Can anyone inject the newest saltysd loader into a Cia? My menus laaag way to much, and it takes like 5 minutes just to start the game.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I think it's the 1.0 build that's the newest

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

The Luma version runs way slower for menus for some reason, and it takes longer to load the game from startup

is like 10 seconds to boot up really too long?

No... I got the 1.0 code.bin, renamed it to the USA Smash Bros Internal ID.bin, and put in luma\code_sections. IDK why it takes forever, I can't even do Smash Run because I get stuck at the pre-battle screen. Load times in single player smash are like native game speed though. Even the menus are laggy af

Maybe it's the code.bin. In any case, can you send me your code.bin or inject it into a CIA for me? Oh, forgot to mention I have a N3DS XL.

Can we do anything about the camera? A free camera as seen in 20XX and PM would be great, there's a ton of detail that are obscured by a far distance and pixellated screen.

There is a really dirty method using the stage editor, you can just set the min and max to like 1080.0 or something to rotate several times in every direction, but it eventually stops. I did something similar on this but the cap is at 270.0

Edit: https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-smash-4-easy-stage-editor.431409/ and do not use negative values, it just breaks the screen.

@SylverReZ, I dislike the kind of drm where you have to play single player games online all the time bc of some verification bs

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

@SylverReZ, i think they have been doing that since late 2000s

Either that or their old games were unfinished aswell but we can't notice it

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol

I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol

So that version is semi rare
