OK so I am eagerly awaiting the 3D movie playback so we can then code 3D movies for the 3DS. While I've been waiting I have downloaded some 3D movies. So out of anticipation and curiosity of how well these movies would translate to the 3DS I made some actual 3D screenshots. Check them out and tell me what you think.

Titles done so far:

I've been learning 3DS Max, and that's what my cat avatar has been about actually.
Anyway I've been playing with daylight systems today and got a nice picture, so I've rendered out a pretty silly tech-demo picture at two angles and made an MPO, it looks great on my 3DS.

Edit: I've made a new image that doesn't look quite as silly, trees!

Cool character design, RC. Kinda reminiscent of something we might have seen back in the N64/PSX era.

Should have my 3DS this weekend. Can't wait to check out many of these pics on the system.

Here are a couple of mpo's that show what happens when you reverse right and left eye images. I like how they turned out. Enjoy.

I found mixing up the left/right eyes just screws up the image, since one screen is assigned to the left other, and vice versa.
You gotta make sure you get the order right.

i MUST be the only one this is happening to, when i try uploading ANYTHING to 3D porch it stalls and nothing is uploaded, giving me a "The connection was reset The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading." error.

whats a better site to use?

What's the best way to transfer 2D pictures you've taken on 3DS over to your PC? I just wanted to be able to use a pic of my Mii online.

Thanks

Just take out the SD card in your 3DS and find the .jpeg photo on there.
Any pictures taken in 3D give both a 3D .MPO and 2D .jpeg

I just added a crap ton of new pics to my 3Dporch from a recent trip to the Dallas World Aquarium. This is one of my fave pics. I tried a bunch to get the otter they had but she wouldn't hold still enough lol! You can tell most of the animals there love attention, I got quite a few good picks of them.
