This is a thread for sharing your homemade 3D pictures taken with your Nintendo 3DS! (SFW, please..).

Check out http://www.3dporch.com to upload your pictures in .mpo format. Doing so will create a wiggle-3D image as well as provide you with the link to download the .mpo file.

IMPORTANT: The 3DS will only read images in an AAAA1111.mpo where A = any letter and 1 = any number format. You must rename your images in order for them to show up on your 3DS unit (thanks spiritofcat). They do not need to be in any particular directory as long as the photos are appropriately named.

Thanks to the mod who edited and stickied my post. As someone who hasn't lurked here in about 3 years and had no recollection of posting this, it was quite a shock to see a stickied thread created by me with wording I've never used and bikini galleries I never remembered posting. Never been so confused in my entire life :rofl:

Looks like you definitely need good lighting to get the best results with the 3DS cameras.

I don't have my 3DS yet, but I do have some 3D photos that I took manually while on holidays a while ago.
I've used Stereo Photo Maker to try converting one into an MPO for viewing on the 3DS. Anyone want to have a look and see if it turned out correctly?

I just found a site called 3D Porch that let's you upload 3D pics in their native .mpo format. It gives a few viewing options, Wiggle, Red-Cyan, Left-Eye, Right-Eye, .jps, and .mpo.

Let's see how linking a wiggle one works. You can click the pic (or here) to go to the actual page my pic is on.

Those pics made with 3D Porch aren't working for me. o__o They're moving a bit too slow, and the adjustment between pictures is far too large.

Your dog is beautiful! I also laughed really hard at the Hitler Picture XD.

Once I'm done running a few battery tests with my 3DS, I'll post up some pictures.

You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version?
