@cucholix Strange. I'll look into it (probably next weekend)

Hey, I worked a bit on SDCafiine and rewrote many parts of it. Now I'm not quite sure if i broke something.
New features are NTFS support (USB only). Would be cool if somebody can do some testing before I make an official release (which may be broken in some way...).
So far I had no issues, but I don't have fancy/many mods for different games I could test.

What would help the most... Testing:
- Different games
- From different devices (SD, USB(FAT32), USB(NTFS))
- Does all work on the same time (I mean mods on the SD card and usb device?)
- What happens when you have a USB Drive connected with an FAT32 and NTFS Partition? Does both work?
- Are there general issues?

Download:
http://www12.zippyshare.com/v/YNd5Khfa/file.html

Thanks!

EDIT: Replaced the download link with a new version that fixes the sound issues with NSMBU

Both this and the 1.4 version give a DSI exception error with Hyrule Warriors.
Tested with SD and USB, both FAT32

Can Spiik be used in conjunction with SD Caffeine? It would be useful to be able to load certain overseas games, but also be able to mod them.

The exception is not happening in sdcafiine itself. Are you sure the modified files work (on console)?
They work fine. I even tried using unmodified files and it still gives the error. Maybe I just need to reformat my sd/usb if it's not sdcafiine that's causing it then.

EDIT:
Well I tried a freshly formated NTFS usb and everything works. I'm getting the same freezing problem that cucholix has when I press the home button though.

It should work. Make sure you put the mods in the correct folders (some of them need to be put in a specific language folder, like "data(us_sp)" for ntsc spanish language)

Thanks for these great updates, @Maschell! Unfortunately...I have CBHC and 1.4 doesn't work. As @lunatiklucy had pointed out, the game just loads normally. I'm able to load files properly by reverting to 1.3, so I imagine it's the Mocha integration.

Well that's nice to know it works and all, but you didn't answer my full question.
How should I setup the SD card for it to work for Splatoon? remember I'm trying to replace the music.
i dont have acces to the file system right now but you fooloow the intructions in the first page and just use the games title id

So to confirm: If I use cold boot haxchi, can this be used? Can booting SDcafiine 1.4 just override "homemenu" CFW variant built into haxchi, or if I replace autoboot into Mocha CFW, can this be used to essentially "reboot" mocha on mocha with the added stuff, or just get your fork of mocha, autoboot that, and SDcafiine will not try to boot Mocha again and it will work?

"Just use a web browser" is not a very dank thing for I am trying to help Smash communities have training mods and probably 4xM if any interest arises, these places do not usually have time to setup every wii U with web access, and I have personally helped to mod Wii U's with coldboot haxchi for most comfort with stuff like Melee installed on Wii U or two and so on. Coldboot haxchi is godsent for modified games and such in general.

The mocha fork is obsolete.
When mocha was run before, SDCafiine doesn't run it again.

I don't have coldboot hax on my console, but I heard SDCafiine still works without any problem.
Just use the normal CBHC/haxchi and then load SDCafiine.

Hello Maschell,

First of all, I do have to express my congratulations for this project. It is incredible and I wanted you to know that.

Then, I'm trying to use SDcafiine 1.4 with the Wind Waker HD game. I have translated all the game into Catalan language and I would like to use this program to apply the translation without having to download the game and making so many things before playing it. But when I try to apply the translation, the game freezes after 5 seconds. I wonder if there is a size limit for the files SDcafiine substitute. I mean, the texts are in a single file, but it is for about 15 MB. Also, when I substitute all the files from the folder where the texts are, the game freezes after 10 seconds. It works, I have to say. It really works and I see the beginning of the game in Catalan, but it freezes every time. I have also tried to put the original file in the correct path thinking that maybe my file is not as good as I thought, but it freezes anyway.

The game works perfectly by downloading it from the net and using Loadiine GX2 after I substitute the modified file, but I would like to take profit from your program as, by this method, there is no need to download the full game and makes things very, very easier. As this is not the last game I would like to translate, is there any possibility to give you a log of the freeze issue? What would I have to do?

@Xdqwerty No you heard wrong, and don't believe till you experience yourself. Fallout 4 is one of my favorite games of all time. Yes it had issues early on, esp with older hardware like the xbox1, but it is awesome, esp now being 4k on Series S/X or PS5

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you right there, fallout 76 was a letdown, but it not that bad now, they have fixed slot of issues they had at launch. Biggest issue with Fallout 76 is its a pay to advance further type of game, which sucks
