Gaming Risks of loading XBLA Games?

Not even sure if ill get an answer here on GBATEMP.... but ive found a XBLA game seemingly Full and paid version.... when it costs 1200 points to buy... which i have not yet.... as i probably will... but if its full and paid version loaded off usb what are the risks to my account ban wise?

Are you talking about someone who purchased it for their account and you loading it off of yours?

Also, you can't load XBLA titles downloaded from the internet (except DRM free ones)
There was an exploit involving "banned" profile sharing and loading the XBLA from a USB but this is patched and MS WILL ban people for doing this.

The best thing is to just purchase the XBLA game or get a JTAG/RGH and play it there.

There are only two ways it'll boot;

• The content was bought, and downloaded onto the console. Therefore the console has the license for it.
• The person who originally bought it loads it up to the title screen, and then signs out for you to sign in.
• You have a RGH 360, or JTAG.

Pretty sure that falls under the non-JTAG exploit we had 2 years or so ago?

Best thing to do for OP, if he treasures his account.
Is to just purchase the XBLA.

Eh well it depends on how far you take it.

People got banned using the Non-JTAG because they were using accounts stolen from other people. If it's your buddies account then you'd be fine.

ive looked into all those before... sorry should have stated.... actually it seems the file i have attained the files info appears to be drm free >.>

and no its not one of the older drm free games (being vague cause of site rules, and the newness of the game...)

thou atm ive been unable to get it to boot....

Inject it with Horizon into a USB drive.
If it doesn't show up/boot then it's either corrupted or DRM protected.
