I haven't seen a Vita Version? I've got the HD version that came with my PSP. But that's the 2nd and 3rd games...

seems identical to nightly... the menu is still sluggish, but the cores I tested (FBA and PCSXRearmed) at least do not crash and actually they seem pretty fast and stable. Retroarch is such a gigantic work-in-progress monolithic block with so many issues. Not least a menu system that is completely obtuse and has really obscure useless options right next to very important ones.

But... it works! :)

Because we want to make RetroArch 1.5.0 even better and it's taking longer than expected, we are going to be releasing an open beta release of RetroArch 1.4.0 soon! The aim is that by user feedback we can put out a 1.5.0 release shortly after!

so this is a beta ... but still it progress

That might mainly adress the pc and android/IOS versions of retroarch and not 3ds and ps vita.

I'm having a problem getting MAME and CPS1/2 to work for me.
The version I'm using is from 01/02/17, Retroarch.
All of my MAME and CPS files are in zip format.
Whenever I try and load from MAME or CPS, I get this error:
20170114_225147.jpg

I downloaded the CPS files from emuparadise a few weeks ago.
The MAME files...well, one group of them are from 2012 and another group of them are from 2009. But none of them work.

I should report that all of my other emulators through Henkaku/Retroarch work fine.
Well, the Saturn one runs like ass...but that's to be expected.

CPS2 work OK .

Mame and CPS1 have had issues and not really run that well.

Noticed that there is a slow down when selecting "Load Archive" but eventually loads up.

Make sure you are using the correct romsets for mame/fba. Check the first post of this thread for that info. Google can help you find archived romsets for download. There is also an emu planet where you can get individual files if you dont want the whole packs. Make sure you include the parent roms in your rom folder if the game requires it. That planet place does a great job of letting you know if the game requires a parent rom. Try your cps1-2 games in fba or fba2012.

Blah. I remember back in the day when you downloaded one zip file and it worked. Nowadays, you have to download tons of stuff. Blah.
