Yeah a FORCED donation, its irritating and annoying. What if I'm like the 99% of the people that likes free stuff? Make a big donation button if you want.. but a message like that is really annoying and low for developers.

Thanks for the app anyways :)

Just hit the "Maybe Later" Button.....this window doesn't appear at each time you launch the app, or make a little donation. But don't spit on developpers's work.

As stated before the donation is not forced since the app is FULLY usuable without it. I am sorry if you can't bear a 2 seconds popup shown only once every three times you launch the app but it sure did take me more than two seconds to code this app. If you don't want to donate, that's your choice and I respect it. I am not forcing you to do anything, I'm not even forcing you to use the app. But honestely, it's not just about money, and I wouldn't even have minded to send you a donation key if maybe you had shown a little respect for other people's work.

Ohh man having to click that one continue button for this free app is such a pain. Soo irritating for doing all this stuff for me automatically. I cannot continue to function throughout my day because of that. Man screw these devs that do all this stuff for free.

If it was a forced donation he wouldn't let you click continue until you entered a donation code.

Hey @Hikari06 , i've just added WiiU USB Helper on the PlayOnLinux site! it provides a script to auto-install the program!

The link is here , i'm just waiting for admin's approval to post the script! ;)

i'm happy to help for launching your program on Linux (and Mac!) without problems! :)

WiiUSBHelper is now on PlayOnLinux / PlayOnMac ! Users can now auto-install the program on Linux and Mac!

This script provides a full support of WiiUSBHelper on Linux and Mac Systems.

So, when poking around, I noticed that when using FTPii or the USB Helper Transfer Tool, I can navigate to the HDD and browse it. Is it possible/likely to be able to net install directly to the HDD through the Transfer Tool, bypassing the entire SD card (and the slowness attributed to it)?

Although it's not yet a feature in this software, yes, you can transfer the files to the usb drive and install from there to itself, NAND, or another USB drive. But you don't gain speed during the transfer, because it's the slow network transfer speed itself (about 1.4MB/sec via ftp) that's the limiting factor, not the SD speed.

I don't know, but WiiUSBHelper is working with the latest update (3ds and wiiu) without hosts.
@NoyTheBiche

I hear that you're the man to talk to with regards to macOS and linux. I saw your post regarding the playonmac script. I seem to be getting an error:

Screen_Shot_2017_05_09_at_1_36_38_AM.png

It seems that wine 2.7 Staging is not available under playonmac:

Screen_Shot_2017_05_09_at_1_34_54_AM.png

* I have the latest version of playonmac. I have 2.7 staging installed from the official wine website, though it does not help the case as it seems to have to be installed through playonmac itself.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for this report! As i can see, 2.7 Staging is not published on PlayOnMac, i will update the script now. ;)
