I'm on Sysnand 4.5 (updated from 4.something (2 I think?) using a cartridge update. Is there any downside to upgrading to 9.2 via cart (I have an EU console so relatively easy access to 9.2 firmware) ? If I'm right I can then use a web exploit to downgrade memset (so I don't need any super rare carts).
Do I lose anything by doing this (Beyond losing any fake encrypted gateway saves, but I'll dump those first) ?
Is it possible to launch Gateway through 6.X MSET on 9.2 or do I need to download to 4.X to be able to use the gateway card ?

Is there an offline (eg from an Android phone via Wirelessi hotspot ) web exploit to launch Gateway on 9.2 o3DS ? I'm often in places without internet service, so I don't want to be stuck being dependent on online servers ?

My browser is currently working (but its the 4.X browser), cartridge updates shouldn't update the browser should they ? Will that hinder my ability to launch an browser exploit ?

Just to confirm this is the same as the 3DS X-loader on the play store ? I see a thread about it on GBA temp that got locked in February but it seems to be several versions behind. Is there a current thread anywhere ?
I don't know if you will still be able to use the browser after you upgrade to 9.2 using a cartdrige. You should probably update using sysupdater or something like that, which also updates the browser.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.+1 -

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1
