A few days ago, I've finally put my ROM Hacking Tool repository online.
For now, I only have a Debian repository (Debian, Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Windows 10, etc.), for those of you who use an RPM or Arch-based distro, please understand and wait.
⇛How to use
To use this repository, just open the Terminal (Windows + R → bash → Enter, for those of you who use Windows 10 Anniversary Update or later).
Once done, open the file /etc/apt/sources.list:
Add the following line to the end of the file:
Now press CTRL + O to save it, and CTRL + X to close the file.
Once back, execute the following command:
Or if you're a Root user:
Once done, you'll be able to install the following tools:
kclcalc-ds (MKGirlism)
kclcalc-7 (MKGirlism)
narctool (Natrium42, and Dexter0)
ndstool (Rafael Vuijk, Dave Murphy, and Alexei Karpenko)
ctrtool (Neimod, and 3DSGuy)
makerom (3DSGuy)
bmdview (thakis)
midi2sseq (Fincs)
sseq2midi (Loveemu)
yaz0enc (amnoid?)
yaz0dec (amnoid?)
makeromfs (3DSGuy)
And more tools are still coming.
⇛Contribution
If you happen to have a native Linux tool yourself, willing to create a new one, or willing to port your source code over, just tell me, so I can verify it, and add it to the repos.
Despite the current tools, the repo is not limited to just 3DS or DS tools, any platform is welcome.
My servers are all located here in Japan, so if you're willing to mirror things, I'm open to that as well.
But you'd need to tell it me upfront, so I can also support that.
