CIA installers will 100% fail to install CIAS in emunand if you run them from homebrew loader
I ran the Homebrew Launcher via oot3dhax on my 10.7 EmuNAND and used NASA to install the “Homebrew Launcher Loader” to my EmuNAND.
Worked on the first try. Launching NASA through MenuHax (SysNAND) or the HBLL (EmuNAND) almost always worked :)

Maybe @Woodigel had some problems because he used smashbroshax as entrypoint?

that makes no sense as it shouldnt even work REGARDLESS of cia installer thats why every single CFW guide tells you to inject a CIA installer to H&Sor install to to sysnand so it copies over

Unless Ninjhax 2.7 changed something

I ported over Houston to C# and added a GUI to it (like someone else)
Visual Houston.png
Don't worry about the new3DS / old3DS Buttons. (They are insert preset IPs from a config file)
The black part on the buttom is like the Console output for Houston.
Files are removed from the List after installing. Therefore you can always see how many files are left to go and which file is currently Installing (top one)
The Progress Bar shows the Progress and the number above it shows how many out of how many files have been installed successfully.

The C# Port doesn't require the cygwin1.dll and is 17KB in size instead of 70KB (houston size)

Tried it again on a new SD card I bought today and still seems to only install some .cia files but with no rhyme or reason. :/

My experience:
I was able to get NASA to work 5 times out of 5 tries -> Success rate = 100%
I used oothax in order to get into the homebrew loader and it worked perfectly.

Performed on New3DSXL 10.6E.
Used Nasa 1.5

Could someone port houston for 32 bit windows? It seems that this is the problem for me as I can't access it without error :(

Could I get it?
the program or the houston source (C#)?
If you want the GUI program i would have to polish that a little bit.
(I can also just put it as a console thing like the original houston)

Try if this works.
This is a C# Port of houston (as Console Application).
It is just like normal houston except it supports multiple file installing. Just add all files you want to install behind the IP. (houstonSharp {IP} File1.cia File2.cia File3.cia)
https://github.com/tempDeKay/houstonSharp/releases

Save this as Install.bat (or any name you want) and put it in the same folder as houston.exe.
Code:
@echo off
set /p ip="Enter 3DS IP: "
cls
for %%f in (%*) do (
"%~dp0"houston %ip% %%f
)
echo.
pause>nul
This allows you to simply drag and drop all cias you want to install on this batch file.

Is it normal that NASA v1.5 has "error occurred, please restart your 3ds" on the bottom screen after finishing a legit CIA install on 10.5? After restarting, the CIA installed fine. It's just annoying having to launch the homebrew menu again.
That usually happens when you use the function: "Delete after install."

Hum, that isn't an issue - you can only install legit CIAs on 9.3-10.7.
