• Encounter

technically thats all you need for any pkmn game xD

It says English and I just checked it, it works with at least European English version, too lazy to test others, let's wait for OP.


How is it guaranteed exactly? As for injecting, the values in the memory are at least a little bit off so you can assume that it doesn't work. Gold/Silver have the exact same values for everything, but Crystal has extras, which means you need to make something separate for it.

Also @TheGreek Boy since we do know Crystal is coming for a fact, would you consider doing that one now? I've got a few Gateshark codes for the EUR version for a starting point or even if it's possible to convert them for other regions. I won't pretend I know anything about finding cheats in HEX offsets but I've the .txt file if you're up to the task.

Is it possible to put Metal Coat/Dragonscale/King's Rock on the item shop cheat? I've been grinding Magnemite for an embarrassing amount of time just to get a metal coat for Scizor and Steelix. I know I could just force a Steelix or Scizor to spawn, but I'm playing with friends and would like to actually trade.

If not, could you tell me whether forcing Magnemite to spawn (to make the grind faster) affects whether the Magnemite will hold Metal Coat? I'm forcing them to spawn, but doing it on the proper route, with only the 1 hp and Sleep status cheats on to make them easy to catch.

Hey cool stuff, but the "Fast Text Speed" code turns on the BATTLE SCENE option on and it can"t be turn off, please fix this.

That should do the trick. It strips the current text speed setting while leaving all the other settings in-tact, then adds the instant text speed in.

Thank you for your help but i will not add Instant Text Speed again.

That's a shame. Well, if anyone is running the CTRPF Action Replay plugin, you can use this cheat to enable Instant Text Speed. It only needs to be turned on once, then save your game. The setting will persist in your save.
