Beta-Release 0.6
Here is my first beta release of my next FreeMultiPatcher version.
For the changelog check the release page on Github.
At the moment it generates 3 Files including the Regionfree Patches, the e-shop spoof and the anti auto download patch.
For the final release there need to be a PC application for creating patches, I will create it, if nobody wants to do it, but I would like if somebody with more GUI creation experience would do it.

Perhaps you can message a mod and have them modify the title to reflect the capabilities of the new beta?

So people understand that they can make and distribute their own patches now. I'm excited to see what people do with this new power!

I definitely think a new thread is the way to go, once 0.6 is out of beta.

0.5 works great and thanks, but 0.6 beta won't boot and resets system. Tried redownload, but same thing happened.

Same thing for me with 0.6b.

After resetting it gets stuck in a themehax induced bootloop.

have you deleted the old settings file?
I have not enough error handling in same parts, so it will crash if there is a broken settings file. And the old one is broken for my patcher.

I never had a settings file, and I tried .0.6 before I tried0.5. Does it make one the first time you run it.. Because it crashed before getting to a setting menu.

EDIT: I downloaded with both phone and PC, and still no boot on N3DSXL RX9.0.0.20U emenand with 9.0.0.20 sysnand with 0.6

P.S.- This patcher completes my whole setup. You rock, and I very much look forward for your next full release.

not now, but I will add it to the release.


on sd there should be A fpm folder. Inside of it there should be A patches ans settings folder.

There is nothing made on SD when I run 0.5 and it works fine, and It doesn't make them either. do i need to manually make them to get 0.6 running?

at least when you save 0.5 will create the folder. It could be that i forgot to check for the main folder.

Edit: I checked the source, and it seems that I forgot to check for the main folder "fmp".
so it wont create it itself.

Here is my second Beta Release

It only contains two small changes, the application folder "fmp" will now be created at first start and I added a version string to the top screen.

Edit: Tagged the wrong branch, now fixed.

The new 0.6b works great - upgraded directly from 0.5 and it now works fine... no crash/freeze like the first 0.6 gave me.

Added Beta2 Releases

Hi, the last days I worked on a solution, to use the e-shop on Pasta with firmlaunch. A short time after I found a way to modify Ygw Eshop Spoofer, to get it workwith firmlaunch, rxtools got regionfree implemented, so I checked out how it works and implemented it to my modified patcher.
I released the first version in the PastaCFW thread, and got positive feadback. Now, after some fixes and additions I will release it, working on gw, rxtools and pasta, on emunand and Sysnand.

Features (Current Version: 0.5):

• Homemenu patching for regionfree
• Nim patching for e-Shop Access(possibly only working on 9.x)
• Nim patching to prevent automatic download of system updates
• Menu with selection of patches

Problems:

• download in sleep mode is not working(please download applications directly through eshop)
• its not possible to use out of region manuals and DLC

Planned Feature:

• Patch Layout(Include in 0.6-Beta release)
• serial patching for e-shop access on systems with changed serial
• get out of Region DLC and Manuals working
• dlp Patching for regionfree download play
• Locale Emulation fix some problems with out of region applications
• a .3ds lite version(will use kernel hax, so it wont work with firmspoof and emunand)
• a new icon and banner

• The testversions on the Pasta thread replaced Ygw Eshop Spoofer, this version wont do this.
• I have not much experience on reverse engineering(Mostly I only read sourcecode and stuff on 3dbrew and try n error things), so I cant promise anything.

but keep in mind that we need to patch the os part which changes the speed at application start. Otherwise it won't stay long.
