strange that the paper mario color splash white sprite when facing a certain direction for mario and npcs is persisting through each version. seems to be a missing texture issue and not TOO hard to fix. then again, I'm a coding acolyte so maybe it is.

Is anyone experiencing momentary flickering textures and artifacts in The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, for the recent public release of CEMU 1.7.5?
I'm seeing them crop up often during gameplay, wasn't an issue I ever saw in previous releases.
I know AMD users had similar issues, but I'm starting to think this could be a 'new' bug... My graphics card is a Nvidia Asus Strix GTX 970 on driver version: 381.89.
Im getting that too. it only happens to me with the 2k or 4k packs so am now playing at 1080p. I also had to limit my fps to 30 as it sometime shot up to 60 fps turning link into turbo link on speed which was funny for a bit but then gave me a headache lol
i just tested breath of the wild , but the frames are so low on my system . 15fps ,... also in lower resolution .
my pc : xeon E3-1290 V2 3,7ghz
16 gb ram
gtx 1060 6gb
Is there something to change to increase the frames .
Mario kart 8 and 3d word works fine in 4k .

Hello.gt
Can you please help me.
I have a graphical issues in new Zelda (maybe in other games to, i didn't tested).
When i start the game the image is stretched. But if you look you can find that HUD isn't stretched.
In game there is no textures at all. But i know that game is runing - i heard voice said "wake up Link", i hear the footsteps, if i try to run i can see stamina indicator.
I used last version of Cemu. Hook plugin is installed. Tried to change some settings like upscale filter, GPU buffer and CPU mode. It changes nothing.
my PC:
intel i5-4570, 3.2MHz
4Gb RAM (just a week ago other 4gb RAM had broken)
NVidia GeForce gt 740

Should be able to reduce memory usage of the textures and shaders to 8-bit depth with barely any visual difference.
I bet the WiiU rarely uses 24-bit textures let alone 32-bit and the majority won't need alpha channel either creating a further saving.
I think it was added to the graphic packs a few versions back, not sure how you do it though.
A friend made a small batch launcher that helped me having little more FPS and less frequent crashes, uploaded HERE.
It basically Clear NVIDIA GLCache, kill explorer.exe (relaunched when exiting Cemu), Free up Memory Cache and launch ZBotW, you will have to edit game's path manually :
cemu.exe -g "Game\Zelda_BotW\code\U-King.rpx" -f
Until Cemu 1.7.6 and it's new shaders approch (less RAM used !!) it do the trick.
- Without using it I have 12.4GB of RAM used (my own 8K Shader Cache), have FPS drops to 18-20 in Kakariko village (for example), most of time 30FPS in open world and game crash every 30-45min of REAL gameplay (exploration, fight, shrines, divine beasts) approximatly.
- Using it I have 11.9GB of RAM used (my own 8K Shader Cache) have FPS drops to 22-25 in Kakariko village (for example), solid 30FPS in open world and game crash every 50min-1h10 of REAL gameplay (exploration, fight, shrines, divine beasts) approximatly.
Hope it will help some of you until proper fixes/improvements from Cemu devs.
