name.3dsx is the name of the said homebrew. I could say xxx.3dsx in which xxx is the name
What ID should I use then?

12345 should be fine. If you're getting red screen two are the possible issues:

Wrong patching of the payload by my code (possible since i tested it really few times) or unsupported hb for some motivations (hbs that use xml descriptors, hbs that use assets (in reality these should be usable by placing the assets in root of sd), etc...)

like I said, the homebrews I used didn't contain any .xml, just a 3dsx and a smdh for icon.
And yes, I'm getting red screens

Replace the elf file with this one (make a backup of the original one first) and re-generate the CIA. With this elf file, the CIA should save on root of SD the patchedPayload as patchedPayload.bin.
Upload it somewhere and send me it so i can check if the patching process works fine.

Is your pl folder not empty?
What are the unique ID you used and your console?
One of the IDs I used was 39412. The rest I don't necessarily remember since they were deleted after many attempts. But that's one of them.

And the Pl folder has the file in there with the same name as the title ID.

Will this load the home brew launcher fine? This tool seems an easier solution to using 3dsx homebrew with Menuhax autoboot

- Minor bugfixes in the batch script
- Now 3dsxlauncher_loader supports any kind of 3dsx homebrew (descriptors are supported and title selecting too).
- Now when exiting from the launched homebrew, a system restart is performed causing a return to home menu as it should be.
- Slight changes to the "conversion" process. (Follow the onscreen instructions in the batch script.)
- Now homebrews are loaded from /3ds as it usually be.
