I can't wait to have a wav to bcwav converted. I just made a custom sound for a game, then realised there's no way to inject it
Awesome. I want to replace the new-fangled dance-remix Tetris music with some more consistent retro Tetris music.Every File Explorer will be able to do that.
Every File Explorer will be able to do that.
Well, turns out there's a wav to bcwav converter in the SDK so I used it xD
Success, I managed to customise everything Home Menu related (banner, icons, tune), but I don't know how to inject a rom.
Video:
Warning: Don't turn the volume too up because the tune is a bit loud.
I actually used the same romfs but the same doesn't boot for some reason. How are you people building proper CCIs? Let alone properly edit romfs files.
Is this version of makerom really fixed? https://github.com/44670/patchrom
Every File Explorer will be able to do that.
Well, I uploaded the latest build on my previous reply. If you want to try it and see if there's any difference...
Will your tool help with creating the models for banners like commercial games use? I think it's bcmodel/cgfx.
Any chance of seeing a public release soon? I can barely contain my excitement! The thought of custom tracks on-the-go is incredible!
EDIT: Also, have you done any experimentation with creating your own tracks? Really can't wait to test that. Looking forward to private Custom Track matches.
Every File Explorer will be able to do that.
I think a python script could easily handle renaming and organizing all the files.Anyone knows how to deal with those file formats? It’s Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call. I’ve taken the secret passwords over to GameFAQs and the fellow admin who writes the guide for the game wants to know if it’s possible to extract (spoilers!) bylines and character quotes. The files seems to be there (like ability_text_en.mdt, crystal.arc.lz (decompressed this one, but SCZ Modifier doesn’t work with it), lose_words.mdt), but I can’t figure it out how to view them.

BTW, while I’m at it, it would be great if anyone knows how to tag music more easily. It can be played with vgmstream for foobar and the quality is nice but you can see the filenames. There is a .csv with song names, but I’m too lazy to rename 224+ files.
So, is there an easy way of decrypting and re-encrypting roms yet? Need to make SMT4 undub.
How about encrypting, forgive me but I don't really feel like going through 50 pages of the thread for the info. Unless the ctrKeyGen + launcher.dat is still the only way?
Also is it normal that the decryption takes so long? I've been decrypting SMT4 for 30 minutes now and it's not even halfway done.
