Hacking R4i 3DS SDHC from hong kong

Well, I have one of those.

Im not sure how does the firmware of this card works, not sure if it's similar to the other r4i-sdhc, but I can't get it to work.

Do anyone knows if I can get it to work on the lastest 3ds firmware?

I know this game card sucks, and yes, I know that I should get a better one xD

ok so from what i have learnt from my experience with r4 cards, you can almost ALWAYS get them to work considering you have a ds lite or a dsi/xl at a version below v1.4
if you do have a dsl/xl, then you should download the upgrade package which is available on their site (the downloads page) and yeah downt download their kernel yet, download the upgrade firmware package,then you should be able to flash it on a ds lite or/else a dsi/xl with firmware lower then v1.4
if it is flashed you should be able to run it on your 3ds,
and i think that if you have got 3d printed on your box then it should work

if alls good and you get it to work , isuggest you use ysmenu.
just download retrogamefan's latest update and use the r4isdhc ysmenu folder

I'll try this in a while, I'll just borrow a ds lite and give it a try.

Well I tried to upgrade, but this flashcard doesn't support upgrades. I tried with both kernels (upgrade and ... normal), Also tried using the upgrade.nds, but after pressing 2 times the A button, theres a chinese text and that's all, it freezes.

I guess for those like me who own a r4i-sdhc 3ds, from HK, we have to wait for them to work on an update, or get a better card... maybe from the r4i-sdhc.com site (No hk damn it xD). Or AceKard or something.
