It is the same card, with a different sticker.

Before Sky changes their website, it was written that QQ3DS was the exact same card than Sky3DS blue button with a different ticket, they told that a reseller did that but they support the card and told people to just download the template because it was the same.

It is not better, it is the same. Just follow your funds, if you need a cheap R4 maybe you can buy it. If you aren't interested by this package, just buy a Sky3DS+. (for example, if you prefer to buy a Supercard DS2 for a DS flashcard, if you don't need the microSD, if you don't need the cheap R4, whatever else)

I can't really help you, I ordered a Sky3DS+ on one of the French reseller website of the Sky3DS team and I paid €84. This seems cheap but you may have some extra fees, I don't know the reseller. But it seems really really cheap compared to European websites.

Anyone who thinks there are actually 2 different companies behind these carts is pretty naive. This happens all the time. There are a lot of advantages to spinning out the same product under different brands, distribution channels, marketing approaches etc.

I suppose it's always possible that it is actually a clone, but I highly doubt it's more than intentional brand diversification.

The problem is that I don't have a VISA, only MasterCard, and most european resellers that have the Sky3ds cheap don't accept anything besides VISA. If the QQ3DS is really the same, I could buy from this reseller and have a DS card for the same price.

Just got this message from them
Well, thanks for your inquiry about QQ3DS PRO!

We are still in working on wireless changing games through an upgrade firmware patch later, and it will come out within days. Please wait with more patience for that! As this is new features with new technology , so , we cannot show the proof for inconvenience! Sorry!
For the 3ds&ds games playing , you can proloaded 3ds and ds games together in one microsd card to play by 3ds mode or ds mode card separately.
The video proof for this will be come out very soon!

Best Regards,
QQ3DS

I don't believe it for wireless thing.

This thing IS a sky3DS+. That's it.

If Sky can't do it, QQ3DS can't.

I know, how the hell they gonna implant that without radio chip on the card at least?

I guess he is just a PR and his talking from his ass

They are copy cat company, I don't expect much from them.

The funniest thing will happen, if they managed to sell more then sky3ds +

Edit: I think they can
If anyone can download more ram from internet, then a simple update will grow a wireless chip on the card

Proof of you can download more ram for free

Definitely a clone. There's no question. Sky3DS finally releases a chip with upgradable firmware, 2 rom navigation buttons, and built in USB. And then QQ3DS (a well known clone) releases an identical product, and we're just supposed to believe that it's their own work? Sure..

It's a Sky3DS+ with just a different sticker. Thus not a clone, but a rebrand.

It would be cool if they could have DS and 3DS roms run from the same card. Then it would be like the DSTwo plus, but better. It's dumb to use a gateway clone as they have the power to brick, but a sky clone won't be able to brick your console. You can run cartridges from rxtools right? How convenient would it be to have autobooting CFW with the QQ3DS card permanently living in your cartridge slot - you could have access to any game at any time. Leave a couple of "trial" games on the QQ3DS (you want to give them a go before committing to installing them), some DS games, and the games you regularly play and any eShop games installed as CIAs.

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds

It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
