Hacking PSP prompts me to format the mem stick when I don't want to?

Was playing a CSO (compressed iso) i just downloaded, then i saved and was told the memory stick couldn't be read and that i had to format. How to fix without formatting? If i have to format it, how to i retrieve my files?

Plug the PSP into your computer, can you read the files from it?

I am having the same problem with my mother, she keeps insisting on me to eat my vegetables to get dessert, yet i don't WANT to eat my vegetables, it's been 18 years since i last saw dessert in my plate

Now on-topic ! try gently brushing the metalic plates on your Memory Stick, i usually do that and the psp stops asking me to format the MS.

Could also plugin to computer try and backup then format and put everything back on.
