I am trying to inject a hacked SM3 NES rom "Mario Adventure." I've tried a few settings for the bytes we have to edit for chr size, prog size etc. (because with standard SM3 settings I get graphic glitches).
If it helps I can post the NES mapper info for the hacked rom in question, because the chr size was something odd like 160kb, and there was no info for that chr size in the injection thread I read. I also tried a couple of auto injection tools, and tried injecting manually of course.
Does anyone know if those settings would create graphical glitches if incorrect, or would the cia just not work, black/grey screen etc. which I did get a few times playing with those settings. Basically my main question is, is it worth it for me to continue fooling with those settings, or will the game glitch no matter what those settings are, just because its a hacked rom. Or does anyone know for sure what number I would use to correspond to 160 char size?
