Yeah I had issues finding a stable pointer on DKC TF. I resorted to modding the ASM in the DKC RPX. Hopefully once a IOSU expoilt gets released the mem range write protections can be removed from the WiiU. After that happens my codes for DKC can be used on Disk besides only working on Loadliine. Anyways hope you get something stable to work on the disc.

Which brings up a question I have for anyone that knows. Is there a way to load modded game updates\modded RPX's on the disk??

Ah, so you're trying your hand at Tropical Freeze, are you? In that case, I have a request of you: this is my new Banana Modifier code reinforced by three pointers. I've been having quite a bit more success with it than my older version. Feel free to try it out yourself. My next target is the Kong POW Gauge, and I plan to use six separate dumps in order to make a more stable code.

Code:
Banana Modifier:
00220000 4B657D24
4D3AC900 4E518700
00000094 00000000

nah I'm done with Dkc TF, I've already released my codes\mods in my signature. I doubt mind doing some testing for you when I get a chance but it would be this weekend before I have any time. you can feel free to try mine as well, but my stuff only works with loadiine currently. looking for a way around that. ^_^

I understand. When I say, "A bit more success", I mean it's not a 50/50 shot of my code working... and, let me guess, you've already found the things I'm targeting, right?

Well, no offense, but your comment is kinda vague, specifically about the "Pointer Search" tool. Which one are you using, exactly?

Pointer searcher 2.0

Ahh... so, you want to know how to use that one, do you? Let me try and guide you...

  • Open Pointer Searcher 2.0
  • Now, obviously you want pointers from a dump, right? Click "Select a Dump", find wherever you saved your .bin dump, and select "Open" when you get to it.
  • Make sure to put your offset address in the Pointer Destination, modify the "Minimum" and "Maximum offset" bars if needed, and click Search.
From there, pointers should start showing up.

Do i select just one bin file and run it.
Do i run all of them?
Does it narrow down the results?
Which one do I use to create codes?

  • You can select only one .bin file at a time, unlike Bully's Universal Pointer Searcher. (Which is good for me since it doesn't crash my laptop or put it into standby due to overheating like Bully's searcher did), but after you "Search" one and the search finishes, you can open another .bin and search again.
  • No.
  • Yeah, using another after the 1st one does narrow down results.
  • That depends on what you're aiming to create.

TCP gecko refuses to connect, I did all the steps, I'm on 5.5.0 firmware. I launched the exploit and installed TCPGecko on homebrew launcher and installed it. What can I do?

Edit: It's working now, the problem wasn't my 5.5.0 firmware but my antivirus (avast).

So, for Tropical Freeze, NTSC-U... I use six separate dumps and this is what I get for a Pointer after scanning the second .bin: [[0x4B657D24] + 0x94] + 0x4

How do you add button activators to Wii U codes?
You need to find the address that points to where the button activation is at. You can find it from the range 10000000 - 20000000. Do an unknown search while hold one button and then another not equal without pressing the button. Keep on doing it until you find the address.
