Never used NTR myself either, and I doubt a majority of users did either. You guys make it seem that if the next update blocks out rxTools, then we will be forever bricked instead of being able to easily switch to Luma3DS.

Based on past events, and the lack of people who make regular backups, there will be an update which will just kill rxtools, people will update, and complain because they can't boot into emunand. Honestly, I might help out some, but I will likely point here while doing so if it gets annoying...

Any harm if the 3ds has been boxed up for the biggest part of the year:creep:
When I do decide to update\rehack whats the recommend guide\ link please
Hit up this guide
https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki
Then hit up my thread
http://gbatemp.net/threads/faq-what-cfw-is-best-for-me.428509/
been using ntr cfw on rxtools since 11.1 day one
Ok? I mean that doesn't invalidate the reality that RXTools is dead nor is really relevant.

Just use Plailect's guide. It's pretty easy and safe to install A9LH nowadays, and it's very worth it.

I don't understand why people don't upgrade, and not stay on outdated software.
rxTools is long gone dead. Even if you don't get any "new" features that you will never use, switch to Luma still. Staying behind on Software is good sometimes but not always.
Even if you never use Luma's Features, at least you are not going to get left behind if Nintendo release some huge update that, could fuck your rxTools setup

To be fair, Decrypt9 is basically an RXTools inspired tool, minus the CFW. So now it's going full circle by re-adding the CFW to the mix.

*pshh we can't tell them they're actually switching to Luma/D9 they must think it is AIO or they won't switch

Not really, it's a glorified chainloader. The D9 part and the CFW part are still separate codebases with separate payloads used to launch them.

I mean I get that other CFWs are better but it's not really a PSA, more of just a suggestion. There's no immediate danger of using it so it's kinda misleading to label this as a PSA.

This.

I don't understand why you want people to change what's working for them. Let it be.

If you actually read through this thread, people have given reasons several times. If you want to deal with several hundred people asking why emunand no longer works in some update, go ahead, they were warned for the most part, and chose to ignore the issue which takes 5 minutes to solve.
